One of the best decisions that the fathers in IBC took some years ago was for IBC to become a Purpose Driven Church. This decision led to what is often referred to as the Purpose Driven Vision (PDV) in our church.
My personal attestation to the foregoing is that this is the best way to go for any local church. This principle is rooted in the Bible and it is the major path to Church Health.
It has become necessary for us to go through this series again for the purpose of carrying along those who joined the church in the last three years, and also for old members to refresh their understanding of this Scriptural approach to growing a healthy church.
