Your willingness to follow Jesus and do the will of God demands for a radical change and complete departure from your past. Until you have been completely weaned from your Old Self with all its practices you cannot enter into the fullness of life and receive your inheritance in Christ Jesus. Partial obedience or selective obedience is no obedience at all. John Sammis, the Hymn Writer says:But we never can prove the delights of his loveUntil all on the altar we lay;For the favor He shows, and the joy He bestows,Are for them who will trust and obey.Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at His feet,Or we will walk by His side in the way;What He says we will do, where He sends we will go,Never fear, only trust and obey.Until you have done exactly what He tells you, exactly the way He commanded you to do it, you cannot see the wonders of His Word.
