Life in this world comes in different phases. There are moments of warfare and a season of
victory. There are periods of great excitement and time of outer disappointment. In short,
there is no permanent condition here on earth because the world itself and everything therein
is never permanent but subject to change.
In the same way, it is not unusual nor is it a strange phenomenon for a faithful child or servant
or church of God who had once been lifted high on the mountain top of uncommon exploits to
suddenly descend into the valley of despondency, distress, rejection, and depression. However,
the only comfort or hope that guarantees victory and a bright future for the children of God in
every changing season in the world is the presence of our unchanging God.
The Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He has passed
through every phase of life including death and He triumphed gloriously eventually. This is the
reason why He alone can give us succor and save us from every season of life Satan our enemy
has determined to exploit to rob us of our fulfillment in life. You also, in your difficult and
terrifying season of life can overcome as Jesus overcame. With determination to avoid certain
attitudes that will further sink you deeper in the ocean of adversity and a courageous heart to
appropriate God's provision for you to continue the journey and finish strong.
